My family
My youngest brother is 10 years old. He likes playing drums and building model cars. My mum is a classical guitarist who runs her own Music Agency, and my dad works in marketing. I live in Cape Town and go to Reddam High School.
I started writing poetry in Grade 7 because I had time to spare in an exam room and was bored!
Long term goal is to study in Japan working in a career with animation.

An Excerpt of a short Story by Claire Heginbotham
What’s the capital of Oreland Avris? Can you give me an answer?
Oh I don’t know Mr. Mank my name is Mr. Mankrus Not Mr. mank, Tingaringring resses class and Avris. Clean up this classroom it’s a mess, but it isn’t my mess Mr. Mankrus. I don’t care and if you don’t clean it up this moment, he made a cutting movement by his neck. Everyone knew what that meant…a whip from Mr. Sissles who is mister Sissles. He’s a whip and not just an ordinary one. This whip has just a touch of rattlesnake poison not enough to kill you but enough to hurt you and by his action I could tell where this whip would land.
I shuddered just thinking about it. Darn I would have to stay in and clean up. Mank is smiling almost laughing. He knows he has won and he always does. But one day I’ll be so famous all I’ll have to do is click my fingers and he can go down to the deepest dungeons and then we’ll see who has won, but do you know what I’ll really like to be is one of the seven wonders you see in the Beginning the seven structural wonders were made but with them seven special people were born.
Each person had a special power There are currently only six wonders but you apparently have to be at least 50 but I don’t believe that because they are so old that they think anyone younger is ignorant but what do they know, that’s right there to old to know they don’t even remember when they were 15 or not even 20.
I my self am only 12 but I think that is old enough. Can you believe that I am thee special child who is the only one to ever fly as high as the Cloud that is one of the seven gifts but I’m not old enough to… hold on I don’t think it is a gift but still I …oh my!
