Whisper from the Heart Poetry Club aims to be the best of its kind “IN BRINGING THE ARTS TO OUR HEARTS”
The
aim (of Stan Almendro & Giselle Visser) is to fully satisfy club
members by having continued contact by way of acknowledging all poems;
poetry; short stories; art & photography entered and correspondence
received. We also aim to assist entrants to release what we consider
to be a precious & unique gift and that is:
"THE WHISPER IN YOUR HEART"
This
we plan to do without interfering with your own unique style. Our club
and site in its new look is good and we are challenged to make your
club membership something very special. Whether you are a poet; music
lover; an ardent reader; writer; artist; photographer or art enthusiast
we wish to:
"ENCOURAGE YOUR UNIQUE ARTISTIC FLAIR"
By making available other facets of the arts such as:
Books
CD's for all your music preferences
The art of your choice by introducing you to famous artists with a variety of themes worldwide.

It has been decided that In view of the serious power cuts being
experienced in South Africa we revert back to the 30th September closing
date for the 2008 competition. This will allow sufficient time to send
all our details to schools & members. We apologise for any inconvenience - The Editor
The Photography competition closes on the 21st of each month & monthly prizes will be awarded. The entry fee for the Photography is free of charge.
Prize money will be adjusted according to the number of entries received.
